Valley Elementary School Announcements

MARCH MINIMUM DAYS AND SPRING BREAK
Minimum Days
There will be minimum days on Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th for teacher assessments. All kindergarten students will start at 8:00 a.m. and be dismissed at 11:35 a.m. All first through sixth grade students will start at 8:00 a.m. and be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.
Spring Break
There will be no school Monday, March 15th through Friday, March 26th. We look forward to seeing all students back to school on Monday, March 29th.

Second Trimester Report Cards
Report cards for second trimester will be sent home with students on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Please contact your child's teacher if your student does not bring home his/her report card on March 9th.

2010-2011 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION begins March 1, 2010. Registration packets will be available the last week of February in the school office. At the time of registration you will need your child's birth certificate, immunization records (with up to date immunizations) and proof of residency (current utility bill or rental agreement). Your child will need to turn 5 by December 2, 2010.

Please take a moment to complete any survey that applies to your students. Your answers to this survey are very important to us. Your response will have no negative effect on your child’s education.
